"See it in a Day"
Britain is a small island - all scrunched up and with something different just over the hill!
We appreciate that, for those wishing to have a true taste of the
country, there are certain "must do's" - London, Stonehenge, Scotland
etc but be assured, the "real England" is rather more illusive
and difficult to find. Traditional bus tours can be inflexible,
uncomfortable and sometimes socially unpleasant while some cannot gain
access to the more remote locations - or are not allowed to use the
narrow roads. Self-drive, while appearing to offer freedom, involves
driving on unfamiliar roads, stressed out with a map on the steering
wheel! As usual, the driver misses out on the experience but does get
to hit the traffic jams. In the end, you may simply visit the towns on
the official tourist route which are crammed with visitors while
missing out on the true "gems".
We have the solution - if you want to see the
Cotswolds, Devon, Bristol, Bath, London, Stonehenge and the prehistoric
sites, Castles or just beautiful scenery and villages - things that
will stand out in your mind as different from "back home" - then we
have a wonderful range of options to enable you to see many of these
places, on a day trip, from this very central part of the country.
By "See-it-in-a-Day" that's exactly what we mean - an intensive all
day tour, starting early and returning late. Nobody said vacations had
to be a rest - especially when you have already invested your time and
hard earned cash in getting here in the first place! You owe it to
yourselves to see as much as possible although, ultimately, the hour
that you rise is in your hands.
Tours are as flexible as you would like them to be - we can
recommend good quality places for breakfast and lunch as well as the
essential "Devonshire cream teas" if required or you can focus on
simply seeing as much as possible and snacking on the hoof!
